Men’s fashion has always been something I enjoyed dressing myself in. Mixing elements from both sides together in one look is what I enjoy about my personal style and makes getting dressed fun for me. On this blog you will learn about my serious lust for crewneck sweatshirts (it is oh SO real). I copped some hanes sweatshirts from WalMart to demo my lust, but that will be in another post.

Anyway, 10 Deep is one brand that I really enjoy lusting after. They really know how to make good use of colors and patterns in their clothing that isn’t super trendy or corny. They just released their 2013 Holiday collection and there were several pieces that caught my eye. My top picks are below. You can check out the full collection HERE. This  bag is stylish and functional at the same time. The Shine Sneaker pack is the size of a carry on bag with compartments for your sneakers as well as clothing, accessories, Ipads and even your fitted caps

Shrine is a company dedicated to keeping tho sneakers you work so hard to get (or not) stay fresh. Along with the shoe backpacks they also make shoe rack storage mounts as well. These racks are functional and put those Jays on display in all their glory.

Balenciaga Holiday 2013 Sneaker

Psst! Hey fellas (and ladies) If you have some money to blow and want to get a really nice pair of shoes for yourself (or someone else) This is a nice choice. These are from Balenciaga’s holiday 2013 collection.

The suede and leather shoe will come in three vivid monochromatic colors. These are great for both the simplest of dressers to the guys who like to go all out. The red and blue colors are very eye catching and the design is simple so they will last you a long time without looking trendy. Just thought I would give you a heads up! Enjoy!

Naturally Project Runway is one of my favorite shows. I cannot sew and I’m always impressed and inspired by designers that can make such amazing clothing by hand. One of my faves from the show and my homie Mychael Knight designed this Diet Coke can for Taylor Swift.

BBC x Magna Carta

This image fell on my timeline this morning and I thought I would share. BBC is teaming up with Jay-Z to release a small collection consisting of two tees (in black/white) and this dope grey crew. I love crewneck sweatshirts. You will see ALOT of this on this blog. I have a growing collection and I have got to add. Can’t wait until it drops. There’s not date on the site yet. So it looks like Ill be stalking BBCIcecream.com for it. Thoughts?

A couple of weeks ago I was visiting my family in Chicago. During one of our chill days in the house my brother in law started playing this song that had a Janet Jackson sample in it and my ears perked up. I quickly asked him to run that back and who it was. He said “oh this is Audio Push…..yeen know!?” I loved the song and immediately downloaded the mixtape. THEN! I’m watching MTV Jams and low and behold they are the Jam of the Week (swag) It’s a sign, a sign that I be knowin! The video for my favorite song off the mixtape called “Shine”. This song makes me want to throw on a flannel, some chucks and chill by Lake Merritt. Peep the Friday inspired video and download their mixtape HERE. FYI Chucks always hurt when you first get them. My advice is to break those joints in or else you will suffer. Beat down chucks are the move anyway! As for the flannels I don’t believe in spending a whole bunch of money on them…Your best bet is hitting up your local thrift store. They are already broken in. Shine On!
