This  bag is stylish and functional at the same time. The Shine Sneaker pack is the size of a carry on bag with compartments for your sneakers as well as clothing, accessories, Ipads and even your fitted caps

Shrine is a company dedicated to keeping tho sneakers you work so hard to get (or not) stay fresh. Along with the shoe backpacks they also make shoe rack storage mounts as well. These racks are functional and put those Jays on display in all their glory.

This image fell on my timeline this morning and I thought I would share. BBC is teaming up with Jay-Z to release a small collection consisting of two tees (in black/white) and this dope grey crew. I love crewneck sweatshirts. You will see ALOT of this on this blog. I have a growing collection and I have got to add. Can’t wait until it drops. There’s not date on the site yet. So it looks like Ill be stalking BBCIcecream.com for it. Thoughts?

The Mercy video is still fly in every way possible to me. On my “All Black Everything” days I try to channel this vibe. We know black is slimming and versatile (and also conveys a silent seriousness a la Wednesday Addams) Mondays are always a challenging day for me so all black is easy and effortless.

You can always mix textures when wearing all black to give your look depth and versatility. Especially when you are used to wearing color. So when shopping for black look for embellishments like fringe, tassles, embossing etc. These items will add interest and depth to your all black looks.

 

Style Inspiration: Pharrell

Personal style is a way that many people choose to express who they are. The type of clothing you wear can often be a reflection about how you feel. For me it’s exactly that. I love to pull inspiration form both men’s and women’s fashion and mix it together depending on how I feel of where I’m going that day.

One person I have always looked up to in the style department is Pharrell Williams. The mix or street and high fashion with elements of art or his travels are infused into his style in a way that the is pure authenticity. Every time you see him his looks are effortless whether its a suit or sweats. I want to look that effortless when I step out the door every day! He mixes prints, rocks distressed denim, kills suit and cardigans even makes a simple jeans and t-shirt look special.

The one item that I have adopted from his wardrobe has got to be the crewneck sweatshirt. Anyone who knows me knows that I love a good crewneck. I’ve rocked it with heels and jeans or sneakers. Crewnecks are warm, comfy, effortless and can sometimes be layered. I’m here for it and thank Pharrell for showing me the light.
