Altuzarra for Target is a Yes!

My Fall season wardrobe wise is about to be so poppin! The lookbook for the Altuzarra collaboration with Target dropped this week and I’m feeling it. For some reason it gives me the vibe of Kim K going on a job interview(which is awesome!). In other words I’m here for a lot of the pieces. When I get dressed I like to straddle¬†the fence when it comes to my style. I either go for cool relaxed tomboy vibe or ultra sexy dressed up¬†(sometimes I try a combo).

Currently Lusting After: Giuseppe Zanotti

Just look at these shoes. I love a dope sneaker but I also love a sick heel. I think it’s important to keep a balance of both in your closet as a woman. I like my heels complex, and for them to speak for me. Usually will a detailed heel I keep the rest of my look and silhouette simple. That way the eye is drawn to the shoe but also the body as a complete look (hello!). I found these on Net-A-Porter while doing my nightly lust fest as I listen to vintage Kanye. Take a look and let’s weep together.

Must Cop: Peter Pilotto for Target

I saw the news that this was coming and some of you have probably already marked your calendars for February 9th. So I’m semi late…..but this Peter Pilotto collection for Target is my bag! I’m a sucker for a great print. I enjoy mixing prints, textures, colors whenever appropriate and possible. So when I finally got to take a look at the look book for the collection ( insert emoji heart eyes here) I can appreciate that even though the collection is print and color heavy I can mix pieces together and it will looks easy and effortless (very Solange Knowles). If you are just as excited as I am. You can purchase this collection at Target or my favorite store in THE ENTIRE WORLD Net-A-Porter when it drops. Check my faves below.

Cop or Nah?: Legging Boots

Tamara Mellon is getting innovative by combining leggings, leather, and boots together. This is the “legging boot”; the idea was inspired by the thigh high boot. Mellon’s idea was to give the look of a thigh boot without the gap. So you can wear a long top or dress over it to give that look. They will cost you a smooth $1,995 if you are interested. I like the idea, however I like the sexy gap of skin between the boot and whatever you wear it with. I also like the idea. of this all in one idea. I wonder if other designers will swag jack the idea. Thoughts?
