Beyoncé is Slanging New Merch Just in Time for XMas…
Bey wants all of your money and she will probably get it this Holiday season.
Today she dropped more merch on her site including the sweaters that she wore in her new 7/11 video (if you haven’t seen it click HERE). Some of the stuff is really cute. I like the “Cake by the pound” sweater and the nail decals. Make sure you head over to her site to check our all the cute stuff.

April Moods & Tumblr Obsessions….
I love Tumblr. It’s a black hole of coolness that I can get sucked into about 15 mins each day and leave inspired to change my whole wardrobe and interior design someone’s place. The past couple of weeks I have been working on some things for the site so I have been going to my Tumblr to get my creative juices flowing. I originally wrote this post back in 2008. I found it today and it’s relevance still holds true. Hope this advice helps!
I think Tim Gunn is a fashion genius, the man knows his stuff and speaks in a way that is appealing to all people. If you look a hot mess he knows how to tell you in the nicest, most intelligent way. The other day I was reading his book, Tim Gunn: A Guide To Quality, Taste & Style and in the beginning he talks about ways to express your like or dislike for an article or collection of clothing. He explains that if you are going to critique something use words that will help you make the distinction between why it appeals to you or why it doesn’t. This is helpful on the journey to discovering what works for you and what doesn’t.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great time over the holidays and got what they wanted for Christmas! So happy to be back on my routine and blogging. Last weekend me and @papidrinkswine were drinking and watching Mtv Jams (a favorite activity) We discovered this Strawberry Colada flavored vodka and gave Hennessy a break. Anyway, one of my favorite songs/videos of all time came on, and as I’m watching it I realized that Foxy Brown’s look is back in style! The cut out dress, the dark lipstick all relevant, so it made me want to write a blog about it. It’s also throwback Thursday (not a fan) so its fitting. Check out the video below and some looks I found that will work in pulling this off.

Lusting After: Moschino
Man, I swear the closer it gets to my birthday, the more things I lust after. Some are hoop dreams, and I never expect anyone to buy most of this stuff for me. However, to buy for myself….YES! I have been in love with Moschino for a long time (since the 90’s) I have obsessed over that belt forever (among other items). I enjoy that their designs can be dressed up or down and make a statement on their own. No need to over accessorize or over dress with the bags, belts or clothing.
I think that having unique statement pieces can go a lonnnng way in a wardrobe. Just make sure that they are timeless to you and that you would want to wear them for years to come. Be a repeat offender of the items you love! Here are my faves.

The suede and leather shoe will come in three vivid monochromatic colors. These are great for both the simplest of dressers to the guys who like to go all out.
