Just look……..
These photos speak for themselves. Tisci couldn’t have picked a better representation of beauty, individuality, style, and talent. Whew! yes.

I live in Oakland, which is a hop, skip, and a jump away from San Francisco. So on Saturday I decided to hit up some boutiques that I have on a running lonnnnnng list of places I wanted to check out. You can also check out a real deal account of what the day was like at www.PapiDrinksWine.Tumblr.com.
My first stop was a mens boutique called Nomads located on 556 Hayes St in whats considered the Hayes Valley area. The store is a good size for a boutique intimate but enough room for you to move around and explore comfortably. Nomad carries a diverse selections of brands like Fred Perry, Oliver Spencer, and SLVDR. The price point was between $30-$150 (NOT BAD!) Great joggers, denim, t-shirt and button down selection as well. I was for sure eyeballing some items for myself. The number one thing that caught my eye was this Sade t-shirt by the brand White Label Cartel. It was only $30 which is not bad for a unique tee that no one will have.
Next stop was totally not fashion related but just as fun. I stumbled upon this bar owned by two sisters dubbes just that “2 Sisters Bar & Books”. Stopped and had a glass of wine (or two) and chatted with the owners. Found out they had mixology classes on Monday you can find our more HERE. Check out their story and mission below!
Next up a couple stores down I stumbled across one of my absolute favorite furniture and interior design stores called Roomservice. Hollywood Regency style is luxe and funky at the same time. I want my ENTIRE house to be designed in this way. I definitely had a fantasy sequence going on in my head as I browsed the store. One day my house will be totally decked out in stuff from here. (le sigh)
Also located on Hayes St. is a shoe store called Undefeated. This was perhaps the highlight of my day yesterday (besides the drinking). They carry New Balance, Adidas, Nike, Jordans etc. The staff was super cool and engaging, which I like when coming into a store (don’t stare me down and make me uncomfortable I’ll take my money and leave). Anyway my come up for the day was a pair of Jordan slate 10’s IN MY SIZE FOR REGULAR price. WIN-NING!!! Now I may be eating pesto tuna and crackers for lunch all week…..But I got them Jay’s THO! lol. That purchase was meant to be and I smooth walked up out of the store with them.
Over all it was a great day and it ended with me being tipsy with a new pair of shoes. Wiiiiiiiiiiin! I’m excited to hang out in San Francisco more. Holla!
I am a fan of BBC. I always have been. And if you have been reading this blog long enough. You know that crew neck sweat shirts and hoodies are my thannnnnnng. You will always seem them on here as long as this blog exists. Anyway Billionaire Boys Club have added another branch to the brand with Billionaire Girls Club. You would think with how long BBC has been around this would have happened sooner. However I’m not complaining. I think it’s cute and simple. That price tag….$160……… Not so much. I still want all three though. If you are interested in copping. These hoodies are available on bbcicecream.com and at the New York flagship store. If you do get yourself one pick me up these three……or nah? #thanksinadvance
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great time over the holidays and got what they wanted for Christmas! So happy to be back on my routine and blogging. Last weekend me and @papidrinkswine were drinking and watching Mtv Jams (a favorite activity) We discovered this Strawberry Colada flavored vodka and gave Hennessy a break. Anyway, one of my favorite songs/videos of all time came on, and as I’m watching it I realized that Foxy Brown’s look is back in style! The cut out dress, the dark lipstick all relevant, so it made me want to write a blog about it. It’s also throwback Thursday (not a fan) so its fitting. Check out the video below and some looks I found that will work in pulling this off.

Man, I swear the closer it gets to my birthday, the more things I lust after. Some are hoop dreams, and I never expect anyone to buy most of this stuff for me. However, to buy for myself….YES! I have been in love with Moschino for a long time (since the 90’s) I have obsessed over that belt forever (among other items). I enjoy that their designs can be dressed up or down and make a statement on their own. No need to over accessorize or over dress with the bags, belts or clothing.
I think that having unique statement pieces can go a lonnnng way in a wardrobe. Just make sure that they are timeless to you and that you would want to wear them for years to come. Be a repeat offender of the items you love! Here are my faves.

Ill be good to ya…….
No. I don’t play hockey, and barely know the rules. I have been to games and my high school had a team so I’m educated a lil bit. Nevertheless, I NEED one in my life. The endless possibilities of outfits that I can come up with with just one hockey jersey. Le sigh. Jeans, leggings, on it’s own as a dress, shorts just so many! My choices are below.
All are $179 and available on Shop.Nhl.com
Here’s some inspiration…….
Did that.
For the last week the Bay Area turned into New York. It’s cold!!!! And people don’t know what to do or how to dress for it. Especially for night outings where you want to look like some work but stay warm. Being that I grew up bi coastal and spent most of my adult life down south or on the east coast. I have learned that layering is your friend along with keeping warm fabrics in mind. So my vintage leather jacket I found at a thrift store for $20 in Charlotte is my holy grail. I wear that thing with everything! My Asos Paris tight keep my legs warm under my demon shorts and my old faithful H&M scarf helped as well. ( the flannel shirt was very trendy of me but it also blocked the wind a bit so yay for trends that are function. I win!) Anyway the star of this outfit is my LPD NY shirt that I love. They use a good quality t shirt I must say and I def want to cop a black one. They are available on http://www.netaporter.com.
I feel like I’m super trendy and I don’t always follow trends but I’m down for an effortless looking outfit alllllllll day. The key is making it your own and adding interest with your accessories, hair, and makeup. You could totally switch this around and wear heels or change the shorts to a skirt. It’s so easy.
“Bad” has long been a term that guys would describe a female who is visually pleasing to the eye….but fellas you can be bad too!
Leo, Brad, and Johnny on tee or tank that fits like a dream, sign me up. You can cop one HERE with your favorite baddie. They run $28.50 and take about 2 weeks to ship. Get one or two and some for your friends!

FYI Chucks always hurt when you first get them. My advice is to break those joints in or else you will suffer. Beat down chucks are the move anyway! As for the flannels I don’t believe in spending a whole bunch of money on them…Your best bet is hitting up your local thrift store. They are already broken in. Shine On!
Personal style is a way that many people choose to express who they are. The type of clothing you wear can often be a reflection about how you feel. For me it’s exactly that. I love to pull inspiration form both men’s and women’s fashion and mix it together depending on how I feel of where I’m going that day.
One person I have always looked up to in the style department is Pharrell Williams. The mix or street and high fashion with elements of art or his travels are infused into his style in a way that the is pure authenticity. Every time you see him his looks are effortless whether its a suit or sweats. I want to look that effortless when I step out the door every day! He mixes prints, rocks distressed denim, kills suit and cardigans even makes a simple jeans and t-shirt look special.
The one item that I have adopted from his wardrobe has got to be the crewneck sweatshirt. Anyone who knows me knows that I love a good crewneck. I’ve rocked it with heels and jeans or sneakers. Crewnecks are warm, comfy, effortless and can sometimes be layered. I’m here for it and thank Pharrell for showing me the light.
