When I was in elementary school my mom planned a trip for us to go to Hawaii we had never been and I was extremely excited to go. I remember visualizing what it would smell like, what the sun would feel like on my skin, and how clear the water was. I had hyped myself up for weeks preparing for this adventure. Continue reading

Adventure Time: Portland, OR
For the last couple of years the Fall season has turned into adventure time for me. Last year in August I made a resolution to go on a trip once a month until the end of the year to spend time with friends and family. I ended up accomplishing that goal and it was so rewarding to see that through. This year I wanted to take a short trip alone to a city I have never been to and just explore it. Thanks to being on Virgin Americas email list I cheap trip to Portland, OR fell into my lap. I have always wanted to go and had a couple friends from there but really knew nothing about this beautiful city. I heard and read a lot about Portland, especially as a life long foodie, this was one place that was mandatory to eat my way through and that’s exactly what I did. Continue reading
Experiences vs. Materials…A Fashion Blog

Photo By Me on my bomb ass iPhone
A few months back when I went on a two day excursion to San Diego for my friend’s 30th birthday. It was my first visit there and I had such a good time. I ate some of the best ramen EVER with ox tail dumplings (YES, HELLA GOOD), swam with the sea lions in my underwear but most of all, I had a very meaningful conversation with one of my friends that made me make a “fourth quarter” resolution for the rest of 2015 that I have committed to carrying over into 2016.

Trippin in San Francisco…
This past weekend I had to play tour guide and show some friends around the city. Let me preface this by saying I don’t know much about navigating San Francisco, I spend more time in Oakland and Berkeley so I am way more familiar with the terrain. In addition I’m not big on tourist attractions period so I try to stay away. However this weekend I had to step out of my comfort zone and I must say it was pretty fun. Continue reading
I’m Taking My Talents To Bonnaroo!
So on a semi impulsive decision, I have decided to head to Tennessee in June and rock out to some new and old music faves at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. I enjoy concerts but music festivals are on a whole different level. My first taste of the festival life was Coachella in 2012, after that I was sold. The vibe, music, people, and the FASHION all wrapped into one are a recipe for a good time. The moment I purchased my ticket my immediate thought was “What am I going to wear?”. I have lived in the south before so I am familiar with the climate (and nothing can be hotter than Coachella so I’m semi prepared) So it will be fun challenge to come up with some looks for this trip. Keep an eye on the blog for updates until June and check out these throwback pics from my Coachella trip. If you are going, let me know!
