This past weekend I had to play tour guide and show some friends around the city. Let me preface this by saying I don’t know much about navigating San Francisco, I spend more time in Oakland and Berkeley so I am way more familiar with the terrain. In addition I’m not big on tourist attractions period so I try to stay away. However this weekend I had to step out of my comfort zone and I must say it was pretty fun. The Bay Area in general is a beautiful place. So many picturesque spots and photo ops to be had. I took these shots at the ferry building, which inside had great shops and places to eat as well as a farmers market on Saturday. I also went to Fisherman’s Wharf and then drove down the famous Lombard street. Being a tourist in the city you reside in can be fun and actually eye opening to what your surroundings have to offer. I def recommend doing so every now and again.
