I have literally been waiting for this show all week! Olivier Rousting always comes with designs that are fresh and exciting. With an immense attention to detail, that makes Balmain distinct and can be spotted anywhere. I follow Rousting on instagram so it helped me get a grasp of what the inspiration was behind the collection.
I love a great heel just as much as I do a dope pair of sneakers. My mother has always told me that shoes are meant to be seen so why not get a pair that stands out. So I’ve been eyeing these bow pumps from Aminah Abdul Jillil that have been everywhere.

Who knew watching Anna Wintour answer 73 questions would be so fun?! Check out this cute video, and get a peek inside the Vogue Magazine offices.I feel like Anna is the distant Auntie whom I never get to see and never comes to family functions but my favorite. Shes so chic and classy.
Fashion week is underway folks. Which means we are looking ahead at what Spring 2015 has to offer us. Fashion is so fast, sometimes it can be hard to keep up with what season we are looking at. I mean I am still trying to finalize my Fall and Winter looks (operation dress like Kanye). Anyway I have been taking a look at the shows and gathering my thoughts and feelings. So far so good I would say. Nothing I that wanted to write home about with the exception of a few. Case in point Alexander Wang. With a looming collaboration with H&M dropping soon, he made sure that Fashion Week was not left off the agenda.

I get so excited when people put me onto brands that I had no idea existed and end up really liking. Before I tell you about this designer I have to first tell you that my little sister put me on or she will slander me. She says I also had to say #lilsisputmeon
I am a self proclaimed introvert until I have some Hennessy. Which is why on a sunny Sunday afternoon I saw Porsche while turning up at a day party and was able to talk to a then stranger. Her style was magnetic, you could tell just by looking at her that getting dressed for her was effortless. So of course she had to be the next installment in my “Locally Fresh” series. This time around I used “Ralph” and shot Porsche myself. I was also able to ask her some questions and talk style for a bit.
